An excellent place, where they give you very interesting classes. My experience with them is very nice, because my husband took the classes, and the change, much for the better, now he understands that being pregnant is not just anything. With you I have learned things that I did not know. Thank you very much First Way Pregnancy Center. Always very attentive and friendly.

How many weeks do they give you an ultrasound?

We provide limited, first trimester ultrasounds to determine viability of fetus. Generally, we do our ultra sounds between 8-12 weeks pregnancy, after that we would have other resources for you.

Do they do only urinalysis here ? Or do they test with a blood draw ?

We are not a medical clinic, so we are not qualified to do blood pregnancy tests, but we do have referrals for blood tests. Here at our center, we use medical grade urine pregnancy tests!

Would I have to wait til I'm 18-20 weeks to get an ultrasound to find out the gender? Where I'm from I can find out at 16 weeks. I just don't want to waste my time going there if they're not going to tell me until in further along..

Usually when you are receiving prenatal care with your doctor, he will order a diagnostic ultrasound for you around 20 weeks, and that is when you can find out sex of baby. Here at First Way, we offer 1st trimester limited 3&4D ultrasounds to check for viability. We can not tell you the sex in this stage of pregnancy.

I am not sure what you mean by pregnancy exam, but usually any type of exam would be done by a doctor. We are not a medical clinic and can not offer exams, but would be more than happy to refer you to a doctor or clinic.
