I’ve been with mountain America for almost 5 years. I’ve always paid my overdraft fees, my credit card and have had loans through the branch paid in full as well as having direct deposit for the last 5 years. I paid off my credit card and wanted to re-establish it after I had gone through some credit re-building and was shut down by a loan officer. He didn’t bring me to his desk to discuss, he talked very loud about my situation in front of everyone in the lobby in the branch instead of bringing me to his desk and it was so embarrassing. I love mountain America, but they need to train their staff to be more caring instead of talking loudly about someone’s financial situation in front of everyone in the branch lobby. This is the only bad experience I’ve had, I’m so embarrassed and have the first bad taste in my mouth about MACU. Do better mountain America, do better.

Do not go to the Midvale Fort Union location teller drive through unless you have AT LEAST an hour to spare waiting in line. Also, when the lines are longer than two cars, the ATM entrance is blocked.

I love Mountain America Credit Union! They are friendly and go the extra mile to help you with whatever situation you have. They are courteous and you feel like you have some good friends there. I truly feel a part of their team as a customer.

I recently switch my accounts to Mountain America CU from America First CU. The customer service here is by far a million times better than any America First CU branch I've been to! The transition process was also very smooth. Brittani DiMeglio helped us with opening our new accounts and she is AMAZING to work with. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and even humored me with my poor attempts at jokes. If you need to open an account go see her! Although, from my short experience there, everyone was extremely happy and friendly.
