It was a great benefit to help support a place that helps care for pets rather than euthanize them.

My son had an emergency mishap and the officer who called the ambulance placed his dog in the care of Safe Haven. I called to check on Bella and spoke to a very nice help young lady who reassured me Bella was fine. When we picked up Bella they packed some dog food and bowls for us. Just amazing people, thank you so much Safe Haven for taking care of Bella til we were able to picked her up. Much love and respect to your establishment. Ahèhèèh ní’sta gò💚💚

The people are so inspiring. They love the animals, help find good 4ever home. Always trying to do things to keep them comfortable and feel better and safe. Taking care of their medical needs. I just love helping wherever I'm needed. Can't say enough about this shelter.

I stopped by for their Annual Fall Cookie Walk. Due to COVID it was all Drive Up but the volunteers were still friendly and happy to see everyone. I run a Non Profit and they have me kennels for 2 families and Styrofoam boxes for the stray cats in my neighbourhood. I've always supported Safe Haven and appreciate the hard work all of the wonderful volunteers put into keeping this No Kill Shelter up and running.

You will have to contact Safe Haven directly for information like that. I have no idea.
When can I drop them off. I see you are only open on Sat. and I hardly get that way on a Sat.
I am not sure
They don't find homes but I believe they have a network they work with because they have taken in animals from Texas and other areas hit by natural disaster if they have room.
Boarding might be better done with their Vet. Safe Haven often has kitties arriving with illnesses. They do their best to keep them separated but they couldn't guarantee anything and safe haven is a small shelter with limited space. Call but I would encourage the vet route.
No, this is the place Animal Control would take their dogs and cats that they pick up, to find them a new home.
Not always
