Free boat launch. Free parking. Can't beat it. They have side docks also if you are launching a kayak or canoe and it's busy.

Very nice boat launch. A bit of caution thought, it gets very busy due to the no fee launch. Watch when you are walking near the launch the are a lot of rookie boaters trying to launch and retrieve there water crafts.

Maple Grove boat launch is a public boat launch ramp at Chain-O-Lakes state park. It is located within a picnic/pier area of the park and nearby is Gill’s concessions. You can rent boats at Gills, kayaks, motor boats, rowboats, paddle boats, and canoes are all available here for a reasonable fee, staff is very friendly. This boat launch gets crowded on summer weekends and holidays. Amazing access point to the wonderful nature and recreation at the chain

I'm all for boating but when you get people who come flying down with a NOWAKE then park at the launch pier to walk away and have lunch
