I'm giving this place 4 stars because they generally have the lowest prices in the area. Mostly when i have to go inside I'm met with friendly customer service -- until today. I believe this may be my second encounter with this kid. He's rude. I try to be courteous to all, especially people working with the public because I know you can be met with characters and incivility throughout the workday. I guess it doesn't matter with this guy. I said hello when I got to the register and when he looked up, he seemed as if he would return the greeting, and upon seeing me, he immediately withheld. He hesitated when I asked him a question as if i were bothering him. He placed my lottery ticket on the counter and made sure there was a good distance with him handing me my change. Really surprised he didn't counter that too. Literally the whole time it looked as if it was killing him to wait on me. But me being a person to give benefit of the doubt, still said thanks without even a response in return. So while you, Jacob, (oh yeah that's his name), with your rude, judgemental looks and actions, have grated my nerves slightly, I will not allow your ignorance to make me have to pay a higher price or go out of my way for gas. You will not run me out of town... so sorry not sorry. Hopefully someone at Shell will see this and pull him aside for some good ol fashion people skills training... it's 2019 dude what the hell. And if that doesn't work wellllll......
