Primrose of Clear Lake will always hold a special place in my heart. My daughter attended there from 3 months until she graduated Kindergrten. We did not plan to attend Kinder but due to Covid it was a blessing to have Primrose remain open during the pandemic. It gave her the opportunity to continue in person interaction with her teacher and classmates during covid. I do not know how they can get her to eat carrots and peas for lunch because I can't get her to do the same at home. She tells me it is not the same. I will always appreciate the guidance that Primrose shared and offered reassurance when I doubted myself on how to better direct certain behavior. I'm glad to say we got over those bumps! Sometimes, I still do miss sending my daughter to Primrose.

We think very highly of Primrose Clearlake and would recommend the school for other families. We lived in Clear Lake for a year and our daughter attended Prek 3. The school was clean and organized with a staff that was caring and provided a great curriculum with many activities to stoke a child learning abilities and imagination. Primrose Clear Lake get an A+ and we miss them dearly.

We couldn't have been happier with the staff and families at Primrose Clear Lake! We had 2 girls enrolled and they really blossomed while at Primrose. The staff was very caring and engaged. Our kindergartener learned to read independently while there and our shy little one has come out of her shell. We love Primrose!

We have had our child here for 2 years, and had a great experience. Our child is excited to go to school every day and comes home excited about what they did that day, and has formed positive relationships with all the teachers.

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
Yes, our school has a kindergarten program that utilizes our Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to help prepare children for success in Kindergarten, elementary school, and beyond. Small group lessons offer greater individual attention and our extended hours help support working parents with all-day care.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
