I used to really like this park because you could walk the trails through the woods or see all the hundreds of turtles swimming in the pond on your walk, but they really ruined this beautiful nature preserve. They tore down half the woods and put a new plastic path leading to where hundreds of trees used to be with a sign talking about how they preserve nature… mhm. and have recently done it again. All the yellow you see was once THICK woods.

Cool park. Multiple points of interest and plenty of space. Water feature is a bonus to relax on a good weather day.

I took my grandkids there this summer to fish, but not even a turtle bit. Did the deep cold kill off everthing?

This park is always a great time! Houston needs to get out there with some mowers though lol
