Classic government office staffed with typical government drones. Building is in horrible shape, the employees act like it's an affront that you are there trying to obtain their services or interact with them at all. Completely ignoring anyone who walks in in favor of their personal conversation or to stare at a computer screen. It baffles me why I have to pay taxes to be ignored, then pay for a service that my taxes already pay for. What a joke.

Im not sure as far i know that you have to contact the County you were borb.
10 Dollars for a certified copy and 1 dollar for a copy
You can if you have already ordered and paid for it online. Not accepting walk-ins currently
No. You have to go to sc DHEC. Call (803) 909-7307
It's super easy! You just have to physically go to the Office of Vital Records and fill out a form with all of your personal information. For those born in Mecklenburg county it is only $10, for someone not born in Mecklenburg county it is only $15-20(i cannot remember exactly), but you hand the person(s) working behind the glass your completed form, and allow them a few minutes to research/confirm your info, they call you back up a few minutes later, and after you pay the fee they print you a copy out! In and out in less than 15-20 mins depending on how busy it is!
I don't really know however they ask you to write the correct spelling of the name of mother father and child and we picked our up on the same day it was a duplicate copy not the original $10 dollors
