The memorial is very a very nice tribute to those who served. My kids love the park. Great jogging circle as well.

This park was an amazing surprise! There was so much to do here from playgrounds to hiking trails and more. It's really well maintained and a wonderful little gem.

We love the park because it is huge, and there is so much space to do what ever you want. The skate area is a nice bonus for the kids to safely practice rollerblades or skates or even skateboard. Mine like to race each other while I stand in the middle giving high fives. Soccer and baseball fields; nature trail, playgrounds for kids and a second one for toddlers are standard with covered seating and BBQs for the birthday parties. It's just a great park with tons of space!!!

One of my favorite places it's so beautiful and there's so many different aspects to enjoy... I wish they would add a few more covered pavilions.

Sure does and exercise check points
No signs against it, and plenty of people with pets on a leash, as long as your dog is well behaved and you pick up after him you should be golden.
No not without special permission of the city as the park closes down at sunset except for July 4th
Veterans park is open sunrise to sunset and there is no need to reserve unless you want to do a public memorial with speakers and such. Plenty of parking except for memorial day and veterans day and July 4th
There is a cement sidewalk/walkway leading to the area I believe you are talking about. Hope that helps♡
Yes, 2 gazebos. Large for maybe 50-60 people and small for around 15-25 people. Get there early to claim gazebos. Lots of people try to secure them for their events.
Bring a chair, they have some bleachers, but limited.
Yes it is pet friendly. Has to be on a leash and no entrance fee. The veterans park is free. The botanical gardens cost money.
