We were Travelling From Canada to holiday in Nashville, Needed hotel room for 1 night waiting for condo on Sunday April 17,2022 which we had booked for week.My daughter booked with Expedia ,we arrived late Saturday afternoon booked into Room 609 ,2 beds in room the one bed my daughter was saying felt wet ,we checked under the sheet and felt cover that was placed on mattress cover., the mattress cover was wet and very stained with urine . We pulled off the sheet you could really smell the urine. It was 9pm I went down to request new room the clerk was very good she gave us another room 624 and said she would get Expedia to refund ,which they did.the second room bed closest to bathroom had hole in mattress on side by night table so I checked to see what was under sheet , they had 2 of the egg carton foams on top of mattress that looked pretty worn. We decided to just stay in that room we were tired. They did tell us due to covid a lot of staff had lost jobs due to low occupancy, I am sure the cleaning staff have more work then they can do properly.I am writing this because I would think that a large,International ,Reputable Hotel chain such as Sheraton would a standard of quality and cleanliness at all of their properties. The clerks at the desk were very good ,they also gave us 3 free breakfasts in the restaurant.

When we arrived we were notified that we had received an upgrade to a corner room. We were also told that the hotel was remodeling. What we didn't expect is that our "upgrade" would be the room under the construction site. Every day we woke up to continuous drilling and banging in the morning. On day two we also learned that the hotel would not have water during the day. When we woke up, we tried showering before the water was cut off but didn't have hot water. I understand that a hotel needs to make upgrades. If you are going to welcome guests during this time, at least provide a discount for the trouble and keep guest as far from the construction as possible. A guest shouldn't have to navigate your challenges of construction and remodeling.

The only two nice things I liked from my stay was Andrea and Laron who checked me in. They were amazing and professional but my room was outdated. I was annoyed when I realized afterwards that there was no microwave or fridge in my room when I had food delivered!!! Highly disappointed that I had to come downstairs to use to microwave. I know it’s minor and first world issues but it’s annoying. Whoever the general manager is needs to fix this asap. Definitely can count me out for ever returning to this location. Then when I came down to warm up my food there was no plates to use the microwave. The front desk guy sensed my annoyance and brought me a real plate from the breakfast area !! Great customer service. The bed is soft the walls are thin and the plumming or the pressure to flush the toilet is poor like definitely not Marriott standard. The only good think about Marriott is the late check outs and guaranteed room when you book.

3 only because the staff was nice. I feel like the pictures are misleading and it’s an “okay” hotel. The lobby is nice but the hotel needs to be updated. I travel often & I probably won’t be back. When I grabbed an extra pillow in the middle of the night I found blood on my pillow. The staff did change my room no questions asked but in this era I’m still shocked this happened. I hope they become a little cleaner. However it’s not for me.
