Great campgrounds. Called the maintenance line, Terry said the pit toilets are scheduled to be emptied by Friday July 29th,2022- next Friday. Not sure if they will make it but we hope so, they will most likely overflow by this weekend. Camp hosts is great, it is cool seeing her every year!!

Used to be my favorite place to be as a child! Not so much anymore unfortunately… had animals tear through our tent several times to get to our food. They would even snatch food right off the table as we were sitting by the fire eating! Found many ticks so I’d be careful going through any tall grass or dirt areas. Also got yelled at by the “host” and threatened for playing the guitar and singing around the camp fire. Even with the animal problems I still loved this place but with the rude host I don’t know if I will be coming back here. Camping is about the wilderness and the simple joys in life. If I can’t even play my guitar and sing a little around my camp fire? Then this is not a place I enjoy camping at. I really hope everyone else’s experience here is better than mine because this place is truly a wonderful place to be when you’re not experiencing the issues I have.

Beautiful lake front rustic campground. One of the best I ever visited. No flushing toilet, no shower, so it's not for the people got have those. One little complain I had was short of well water location. I wish they will add at least one more well water at end of North side. I had to walk like 10min to get to nearest well. Also this is first come, first serve camping place. To get a lot especially the waterfront lot, you have to get there days before weekend to compete with many other people. That's little risky gamble to most people driving hours away.
