Apartment staff showed us the apartment with upgraded utilities but at the time of our move they gave us old apartment. Since we moved from different state with all our luggage in uhaul and with staff not understanding the situation we moved to apartment given to us. And they are also not ready to compensate the rent . We Registered our car through the document provided to us at the day of our movie in but after 2 months of our move my car was towed and when we check in the leasing office they said our car was not registered and we asked to show the documents they are saying our document is missing. So we need to pay 300$ to get our own car 😡. I tried to speak with them but they are saying our car is not registered. There is no one in the leasing office who can help us. I read previous reviews and some of them faced the same problem. Looks like this is kind of SCAM.

Great place to live. Love the staff(Jenny and Kalaiya), love the pool, love the atmosphere. I haven't had any problems so far. I'm greeted with smiles everytime I go to the office. Would recommend!!!

UPDATE: it is now October. The fees that were in question last month appeared again in October. I have been fighting with the leasing office for 6 consecutive days. They refuse to listen and are just defensive. I was reassured multiple times in September the issue was resolved and would not happen again. However, here we are still having the same issue. Listen to the reviews about management!!!! The apartment itself is great. Grounds are kept beautifully. It’s always quiet. Great area. But the leasing office is a nightmare to deal with. Their communication skills with each other and the tenants is basically nonexistent. If you tell one person something, they don’t pass it along. For example, when I moved in I was working with one person. Paid my rent. Submitted all documentation. I signed my lease august 1 but did not get my keys until august 3 (lived out of state). August 2 someone from the office is calling why I didn’t check in. Second example, I have provided my renters insurance THREE TIMES to different people. When my September statement came out, I was being charged $26 for not having insurance. On August 23 I emailed them immediately and asked them to resolve it. They stated it had been fixed. Come September 1, the fees were still on there. I emailed the office immediately. No response. I had to send a second request after waiting 24 hours. They responded and advised I pay the fees and just “have it credited after the new amount is approved by management”. At this point I have lost all faith in them actually being able to provide me with a correct ledger seeming as I addressed this issue 8 days prior. I told them I would not be paying fees that I am not responsible for and was proactive about correcting BEFORE rent was due. I received no response and my account has not been fixed. Now there is a $217 late fee. Because of how their system is set up my only option is to pay the amount THEY have provided. On top of that, no one has advised on how I pay my water bill :) There is also an additional fee for the parcels that they do not advise of at move in. $20 for initiation and $5/mo. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I have no faith in this leasing office team on actually handling anything they need to handle.

I lived at Luxia for 4 years and it was a overall decent experience. I am going to have to dock points for a few things. - Phone service is none existent in the building at all. If you do not have wifi do not expect any sort of connection on your phone. - “Valet” Trash, The trash service is set outside your door and it will be picked up, thats it if you have bigger pieces you have to pay get it handled and as a tenant you do no have access to the dumpster at all. It is forced and an additional 35 dollars a month. But make sure your trash is sometimes never picked up, the pick up time is not consistent and the people who do actually pick it up refuse to grab bags sometimes. - Fire alarms While it was not an issue after the Management change For a little over 3 years the fire alarm was the most annoying to me. Overly sensitive and dramatic would go off at the worse times, 3am 10pm four my six times in a day. This isn’t an issue now but my biggest issue. Management - Since the swap the new management has not been great. We told them we would be moving out at the proper 60 day time and they never accepted it saying it was “not clear enough” and so we were forced into a month by month Lease, which spiked out rent to $1500 dollars. They do not answer the phone no matter how many times called. Appearance - It was once very lively and interactive but now it legit feels like a ghost town. I very rarely see my neighbors during the day. The one full pool area barely had anything in summer now. The hallways make you feel like you are more in a hotel than a lively apartment. The floors are rarely cleaned, and I am sure the stairs have never been cleaned minus good Samaritans who pick up trash. It feels like all the effort is going into the newer building over the older one now. Price - When I first moved in the rent was around 900 for the smallest size offered. Now when you check you have to pay 1300 for the exact same size which is insane. It was a quiet and nice first apartment for my partner and I but since the new management came in it feels like it has lost it’s soul. There isn’t anymore of the social drive like the old management gave the complex. Multiple events in the month and personally interacting with the tenants outside of the office. Would I suggest it? If you are a small living couple or single person, I mean sure. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great after a while. I’m sure the price hikes and the fire alarm system drove a lot of people away. But hey…the pool is nice.
