Can you get to the water from this park? Curious if this is a way to get down to the water for fishing without having to pay Rock Ledge Park entry.

Yes. There is a north shore trail entry point near the lake side tower. You can go to the water through that

Are they still doing weekly Friday fireworks over the lake in the summer?

Normally the Gaylord Texan does the show every Friday between Memorial and Labor day, but they have not done them this year.

There is 2 entrance one is free and the other they charge 10 dollars per car!

Park on the street in the designated spots and walk to the trail entrance and go all the way down.

The point is well above water level. You could walk down trails to the water but I don't believe there is swimming there
