I have called several times over a week I have been on hold for 3+ hours no answer I turned in my renewal paperwork in over two months ago and still haven’t reserved anything from them not a call about it nothing what is going on? What’s the point of having this if you can’t get thru to anyone

I have called daily, for about a week. Some days I wait 5+ hours, others I wait 2+ hours, but they never answer the phone. I mean never. All I want is an apt with a case worker. I've called 211 so many times and they said I have to contact my office. I'm going to be going into the main food stamp office in denton texas tomorrow and will see what happens then.

No appointment needed just go up there there is computers and assistants who will provide help applying for the assistance and some times same day appointment
You can still walk in. Wear a mask. They'll answer your questions and provide you with forms but you can't stay there if you need to fill anything out.

They are open. Just no case workers. They basically tell you they can't answer your questions because they aren't case workers. They are a 211 just don't have to wait for an hour.
