You will see from an earlier post that quite correctly I failed my first road test on September 13 2022. I was obsessed with getting as early 2nd appointment as possible. I diligently logged on to the website & got what must have been a cancellation for 20 September 2022. This time with a different examiner(Lewis) who is equally professional & calming as the gentleman who assessed me on my first road test, I PASSED!! EVERYONE within the DPS department are an absolute credit to the state of Texas. All comers are given the same courteous, professional and knowledgeable service. Although it has to be said that from my observations customers are not always as courteous to staff. On occasions there may be a longer than expected wait. In my opinion this only happens because at this particular DPS we the public receive personal care & attention . My sincere thanks to everyone at DPS Canyon Falls, Flower Mound, Texas.

They only do renewals for 5 year passport or a 10 year passport if it has been expired for more than 5 years. All others have to be renewed with the Mail in application.
