I am upset with myself for not reading the reviews before I visited this shop!!!!!! "Will definitely not go back; however, will tell anyone/everyone who is ready to listen about how I was frauded by this business just because I do not have small engine repair knowledge". He definitely took an advantage of me. I took a tractor for a repair due to failure to engage and battery issue on 6/25/22. 3.5 weeks later, I received a call that I needed a tune-up and a battery with minor electrical work. He also asked if i wanted to change the belt and sharpen the blade. (He called it cosmetic work) Something that will be necessary in the near future but will not prevent the engine from working well. I explained that I did not need the blade sharpened because it cuts well when the engine engages. I told him I would wait on the belt & blade for now since it wouldn't have any effect on the engine performance at this time. He agreed. I Paid $338.14 and picked up the engine on 07/30/22. He also told me that he test drove the tractor and it was working well. He said "it engaged well" I believed him, was thankful and left. Due to the malfunction of the tractor (John Deere) i have been cutting the grass with another small engine and hired a guy in the neighborhood for the job in the meantime. Today, I decided to cut the grass with the tractor for the first time since the repair and it failed to engage. I took the tractor back to him and he claimed that it was the belt which he wanted me to repair. I reminded him about our conversation concerning the relationship of the belt/engine performance on the phone and how he assured me the tractor was great when he drove it. He was stuttering. I then asked him what he charged me 300+ for. He said he changed the fuse, battery and the main fuse + labor. It was then I found that this guy did not even do the oil change or tune up as he promised and the main reason I took the tractor for a repair was not resolved. It wasn't fixed as he claimed. He wanted to lie about every conversation we had but when he was reminded about what he said... he started yelling and wanted to talk over me. OMG!!!!! This is stealing by deception. He also sold a power wash engine that i took to him for repair in 2021 which i told him i couldn't pickup due to transportation after 4 months of not working on it. He advised not to fix it because it would cost too much money. Stopped by the shop two times for a pick up and he wasn't there. When I finally spoke to him on the phone, he said the engine was still in the shop, " no good" "you can pick it up anytime". These are typical signs of someone who is desperate. Someone who is willing to sell or do anything to get money. He will look for money by all means; either by selling your equipment in his possession or lie about the work he did to get more money. I will definitely RUN!!! RUN!!!!! RUN!!!!!!!!! from this small engine repair shop. "I wish there was a ZERO STAR to give" 20:06 8/13/22 Another big lie!!!!! Should have stayed with the small engine shop in Aston where honesty and professionalism are their creed!!!!. I only came to your shop due to proximity. You will soon be on "keep them Honest" on channel 6 for lying and stealing from customers. Good luck to those who are yet to see your true color and experience your dubious ways, deceit and desperation.

These guys are consistently good and responsive. Unlike other places they communicate the status of the work, explain the why things must be fixed. Their pick up and delivery is reasonable. I’ve had multiple pieces fixed and one time they got my snowblower in and out the day before a huge storm. Really nice owners. Recommend them without hesitation
