I have a few third party policies from EG on my new vehicle that were offered at time of purchase by the dealer. One of them is wheel and tire protection. I ended up getting a flat from a pothole about two months after I bought the car and was able to utilize the coverage to replace the OEM tire. The policy does have a cost limit per tire or wheel. I ended up paying about $140 after policy coverage to replace a $330 tire so def not a bad deal. Wheel was luckily not damaged so I didn’t have to use the wheel portion of the coverage. Process was very simple and required no effort other than providing my policy # and the phone number and company name to the service center that replaced the tire.

I had EG assurance for my 2010 Honda Pilot. It ended up needing the engine rebuilt for oil leaking past the pistons. They went to the Honda dealer to review the repairs to approve them right away. They worked directly with the dealer and approved the repairs without me having to get involved. They really helped me when I needed it.

Tried to make a claim for an oil change where I get 2 per year, and they said I am trying to get second oil change before year is up, and they said they would only pay $80 towards it.
