Suppose to have missed my interview but didn’t receive a call none what so ever..been calling to do a phone interview for days and not one rep has answered I’ve been on hold for hours trying to speak to someone…went into the local office and still was told I have to wait to do my interview so now I’m waiting to someone call me in still haven’t received a call yet in it’s been over 2 hours 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I’m so over this

Do you have to have an appointment to go to a local office? Also, do you have to go to local office of the county you live? Does Collin County even have an office?

There is no appointment necessary for some state services. You are required to file in the county in which you reside. Collin County does have an office.

It depends on who is applying and what documentation you have when you apply. Each case varies. The main thing they look at is your income. You should make sure to bring in at least 3 months worth of paycheck stubs/income receipts to show proof of income. For children, they will more than likely tell you at the office that they don't do interviews in office for Children's Medicaid. It takes UP to 30 days for them to approve Medicaid for children. For newborns, please make sure to bring in all proof of birth, be it hospital certificates, a letter from the social security confirming that one has been ordered for the child, proof of address for the child and all of your income for the last 3 months. For adults, they just need proof of income for the last 3 months and proof of residence For the elderly, you can request an interview on the spot. Don't let them tell you can't have one unless they have a major reason like the staff is in a meeting or they are closing early.

If your wife is trying to get help with not paying for the premiums that come with medicare, she can go to the Health and Human Services office and apply for Medicare Savings Programs. This is a program that works with Social Security. Once you are approved for Social Security, the State pays Social Security in order to stop them from taking any additional money out of your social security check.

Do they close for lunch?

They are not supposed to close for lunch. The clerks are supposed to rotate in order to cover for lunch. if they tell you they are closed for lunch, that is not true. they do close early for holidays or building emergencies. but they do not close early for lunch.

The best way to reset your password is to call 411. I know this is frustrating because 411 can take a year and a half to answer the phone. However if you keep pressing 0, no matter what it says, eventually it will advise they are getting you a representative. Then let the rep know that you would like to change your password or that you would like to find out how to access your acct.
