Be aware… if a parent has a surgery that lasts past 7pm, her children (their mother) won’t be allowed to see them. It is NOT posted at the alternate entrance (the ER) and since that is the only entrance after hours, you wouldn’t know this unless the staff tells you ahead of time. Of course, you wouldn’t think to ask because why would you think that your children wouldn’t be allowed to see their mother after a surgery??!!

Went to the er for severe pain due to medical issues I won’t disclose. Was admitted & put in an observation room. I was told I would be moved to a regular room but that never happened. I was stuck in the observation room for 4 days. The issues I had during my stay are too numerous to list & detail but they were terrible. I had several issues with staff not communicating information, and not responding after repeated calls to the nursing station. Doctors were often vague & didn’t really seem to care. I’ve been in & out of hospitals my whole life & this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. I recommend avoiding this hospital at all costs.

Breakfast is 7-9am. Lunch is 11am-2pm. Dinner is 5-7pm.
My kid did and was further transported to the inpatient facility voluntarily. So call and check, but don't let it keep from being evaluated though.
No. They are evaluated by psych and go to another facility for inpatient help.
