As a therapist that works closely with their team, I can confidently say they are top notch therapists well versed in couples work. So grateful I’ve found them and am grateful for how many marriages they’ve helped!

I asked the office and Teresa to cancel all our appointments and I would contact them. I also never agreed to be on an automated appointment making schedule in the first place. They are completely inflexible and still charge my credit card even though I said to cancel all upcoming appointments 2 weeks ago. Due to this on going issue, I recommend looking for a more flexible therapist. Also our last appointment got completely off track as Teresa did not properly plan for our session and I felt very unsatisfied afterwards.

The "therpaist" we received was highly withdrawn. She seemed to practically be reading from a script on every encounter. Toward the very end of each session she would bring up a hot button issue that would aggravate our relationship then end the session with each of us unhappy with each other. We had other therapists who actually helped us bond before and it seemed that therapist here was attempting to drive a further wedge in our relationship to ensure that we needed more therapy. Awful experience way too expensive and I would never reccomend anybody go here unless they are trying to create a rift in thier relationship and stir up hostility. Our therapist was so consistent with this behavior that it seemed to be on purpose.

Our experience with The Marriage Place and our counselor Michael Popovici has been a positive and awakening experience. As a relatively newly married couple, my wife and I have continuously sought out spiritually centered guidance for our marriage with mixed results. Michael has brought something we feel we never truly got anywhere else, a balanced and truly soul searching therapy experience.
