I have been a moneygram account holder for more than 12 years . I have always used the online service to send money to my family who lives overseas. I never had any issues with the Company ,until July 2022. I tried to make a transfer online . I kept getting an error message saying: "due to your security you are unable to make a transaction online ,by phone or in store" I called customer service to see what is the issue . They Said that my account is under review by an automated system and more than likely I can't use moneygram services anymore. And I need to find another company. I asked several times the reasons and if there is solution. They refused to help me or provide a solution. I never done anything wrong and always use the same account. Customer service barely speak English and were never been helpful. I deserve to know what happened to my account and if there any suspected security breach or anything that has been compromised. I opened many complaint cases online and they closed the cases without providing any solution or a legit answer. I am going to seek legal advices and report the situation to authorities and businesses bureau.

I have no words to describe how horrible experience I got from this company. In a 3rd world country waiting for emergency money from my family just for food super small emergency amount.Only wasted time, stress, stress for local bank people... And all for nothing. I really wish all MoneyGram workers to get this experience in return x3... They created stress simultaneously on the far ends of earth. I don't know what they are offering and I don't know what they are selling - but definitely they are not able to offer money transfers between distant countries... [EDIT] after owner Response // you think i remember transaction number after half a year or more?

They are too cheap to hire good people. I have used them a lot but then I sent a transfer and it said money ready for pickup when receiver wen to pickup money they said money not available. I called their customer service which is useless and they said there was a problem they couldn’t ell me why but that it would take 3 to 10 business to get my 2800 back. I am calling the state attorney in Indiana about his. This company is the worst I have run into.
yes please see https://moneygram.com.gh/
MoneyGram money orders do not expire. Money orders that remain uncashed after a year may be subject to a monthly service charge that will reduce the value of the money order. The amount of the monthly service charge can vary and can be found in the “service charge” section on the back of your money order.

MoneyGram will never ask you to deposit money to receive money. This doesn't sound safe.

Don't waste your time, Moneygram is engaging in unethical business practices. Many complaints of customers not receiving their funds after the sender has paid and a confirmation number is issued by Moneygram, the receiver arrives at a Moneygram pick up location and is told Moneygram has cancelled the transaction! Contact the Federal Trade Commission, 202-326-2222 and file a formal grievance outlining unfair and deceptive business practice on behalf of Moneygram.
