Funny story ..... not. Started getting spammed by Globe Life in McKinney Texas. Yep, suddenly receiving emails I never signed up for. No problem, I'll just unsubscribe from them. Oh wait .. can't seem to do that without resubmitting my email or writing them. I have to email them and request them to stop emailing me their advertisements. There is no automatic unsubscribe button as with legitimate companies. Oh no, there's a catch to their unsubscribe process. They also want you to provide your email address just to unsubscribe even though they already have my email. Wanna know why? Because they most likely received my email address off a "list" and now if I don't want to hear from them, I have to email them and request that they stop sending me emails. Well, jokes on you. I'm going to give you a one star review every time I get one of your unsolicited emails. I have more than one email account. Judging by your present reviews on Google and the BBB, you may want to rethink your spam practices. Legitimate insurance companies don't do this. Edit: ok, I haven't received any more spam, so a deals a deal. Thank you.

Globe life has cashed my check for my daughter life insurance but have no record of it and therefore have cancelled my policy. I have to go to the bank & get proof that they cashed my check then send it to them. Poor Record Keeping/Accounting.

Hi Evron! The timeframe varies on the type of product you purchase. For some policies, the policy is effective either when the Home office issues the policy or when the first premium is received. Typically our products are issued w/in 4 days of receiving the application in our home office. Please give our sales team a call if you have more questions or would like to apply for coverage.

Yes I have them also really great company to get life insurance thru
they only do 25 grand for accidental death and $5,000 for death so altogether is $30,000 but like I said you have to call them and ask them about it

Hi Stanley! Term life insurance provides coverage for a specific amount of time, known as the term. Whole life insurance provides lifelong coverage and typically builds cash value.
Only if it is a cash value policy. They dont mention that when you buy it

I am a Globe life customer also... and I haven't had this happen. I appreciate you sharing this so I can be aware for future purposes. To clarify... they received there payment and then continued to freeze other money in your account?

They better not return my dead dad's money where in the policy does it say will return money if client dies before 2 years .. I didn't read anythimg like that anywhere

I have my own agent with Globe Life. I am very pleased with them. Very nice speaking people, Americans. Rates are very affordable!
If you are the owner of the policy simply call customer service and have them to change the beneficiary. May I also add I worked there for 6 months. My employment ended because I would NOT play by the rules of the industry. I will say this if you are young enough and/or can afford to, ONLY PURCHASE WHOLE LIFE INSURANCE. Why? The monthly price stays the same throughout. Most people don't know the difference between Whole Life or TERM LIFE. Most people are swayed to purchase Life Insurance based on a price. Most all Insurance Companies will give you the price for coverage you're willing to pay for right now(most will NOT mention the price for that coverage will increase). That's TERM LIFE. Now you may not think much about those increases initially but as you age those increases become exponentially larger to where you may not be able to pay the cost of that coverage. Your policy could end up being cancelled and you don't get any money back and try getting new coverage now. PRICEY.
Since your information wasn't added it had to be a reason was there a signature there did you also add a note stating to add that information and for how many months of payment 1 month 3 months 6 months a year you have to be detail when you send that information
They can go up depending on the type of policy you get

I paid my policy premiums faithfully had no issues with the company paying when my son killed himself. I turned all required paperwork as requested. The company offered condolences and offered help throughout the terrible time in my life. This is a company that I would recommend.
