Can scoop up sharks teeth. Plenty of parking. Restrooms and showers available. Water is so blue and pretty. We saw a small manatee and dolphins.

Easy access with free parking just across the street. Not crowded. Clean. Kids had fun in some decent sized waves, and we found several shark tooth fossils. Would highly recommend for those looking for a beach off the beaten path.

Very beautiful and clean beach , kinda secluded but also easy to find. Includes convenient clean restroom facilities As seen in the posted photos , enjoyable sunsets.

Awesome beach, entry area plugged up with a bazillion people but you can walk 3-400' in either direction to seemingly endless open beach areas. Parking kinda sucks, you can tell no one had any thought to optimizing the parking areas which ends up with creative and unique parking happening. Overall thought great location.

Not good, got there on a Tuesday 10:30am, not crowded, spent a couple hours, dug deep, not much for shells, and no shark teeth
Not sure, it is not staffed. Many people come for the sunset (around 7p).. fires are not allowed. I dont think there is anyone there to be concrened
There's no action yet to close public beaches
Blind pass is not a nude beach. Sorry
In designated areas for grilling. Service dogs are legally allowed anywhere you go. I too have a service dog.
I don't know why or if they have ever changed the name of the beach. I do know that it is also called middle beach, because Stump Pass Beach State Park is 3 miles south and Manasota beach approximately 3 miles to the north.
The sign states no dogs on leashed but, it doesn't seem be enforced.
If you mean Johnny Leverocks, no. They're located in Placida on the bay. This beach is on the Gulf side of Manasota Key. If you're looking for beach and food, I recommend Sandbar restaurant right across the street from Englewood Beach- its on the same key but closer to civilization
Subject to change by the moment
Parking is 100% free as long as you park legally. Shark's teeth are very commonly found here. Have fun!
Pretty slim but not impossible. Typically on the gulf beaches you can find the really small black ones if you walk frequently and very early, before the crowds come. For the large shark teeth try snorkeling Venice pier if you're experienced, or better yet take a guided shark tooth hunting trip up the Peace River (Charlotte Harbor) when the tide is out and there's not been much rain for several days. Bring bug spray!
Officially, no dogs are allowed but I've seen responsible dog owners on the beach keeping their dogs away from humans and there were no problems.
Blind pass beach is a public beach and it has free parking. It is possibly the only public beach on that key.
Red tide is present but not overwhelming.. most would not even notice it
Why reply then
Tt been to 3 beaches on manasota key, all of them red tide, no body swiming, ppl on beach but stinks and some dead fish, not good but has been worse
Yes it is still there. We were there yesterday just to check it out for ourselves and I literally was choking before I even got to the stairs at the restroom area on Englewood beach. If u have any respiratory issues best to not go! Just my opinion though!
Not bad, usually. But, as with the entire Gulf shoreline, you need to keep attention on changing conditions
No. But, if you fish in the bay north of the parking lot, there's a dock. You can take trail through woods to reach it.
It can be a very busy beach. I agree with rating it fair.
No rentals. If you are passing by a CVS or Walgreens, most have beach supplies. Honestly, unless you just want to veg, you wont need them once you start collecting shells and sharks teeth up and down the beach. 😀
I've seen fishing lines on Blind pass...sooo why not
No . Not at this time. Only a large bath house. Make sure you pick up your supplies before you come to this beach. i.e. ice, drinks, lunch.
I know they are finally repairing the restrooms.
Brohard beach is just to the north of Casperson Beach and south of the pier and Sharkey's
Yes it is open and parking is free.
If your coming from the north(manasota beach) the road is one lane when you get to the beach because of Irma. But from the south (Englewood)your good to go.
