Hot water was hot. Noisy construction going on nearby. Something sounded like a helicopter outside our room on the first morning (7/26/2022). This may be beyond the hotel's control, but I had asked for a quiet room. A room facing the parking lot might have been quieter. Parking is very tight because the spaces are painted too closely. Lots of doors slamming in the morning--maybe even from housekeeping, I'm not sure. Paid almost $150 per night (incl taxes) with AARP discount.

I had surgery that morning and needed an early check-in. The clerk was very accommodating and even found some yogurt and a banana for me since I hadn't had anything to eat in 24 hours. So many thanks to her and kudos for customer service. The mattress and pillows were great (always a big plus). The only knock I have was the carpet needed a good cleaning and there was construction in the parking lot.

just an observation: 'The grab bar was at the very back of the tub. The grab bar in the bath tub is completely useless if you are taking a bath. it works for someone standing and taking a shower, but is impossible to grab if one is sitting in the tub facing the tub hardware. It needs to be parallel to the tub- about the level where old soap dishes were in old bathtubs. I am 72 years old and a bath taker - not a shower taker. I have stayed at 2 Holiday Inn Express hotels in the last 6 weeks. Both hotels had these bars in the same place. Again, completely useless for someone sitting in the tub. Other than this , it was a nice place and an enjoyable stay. Becky Dewease

Where to begin. Chirping smoke alarms needed new batteries in the hallway. During booking over the phone we requested a crib but this particular hotel didn't have them; however we were not told this until we were already checked in about to start moving in. We would have moved properties but we were told since we already checked in (had not been inside the room yet) we wouldn't receive a refund. So we were up until 4 AM with our 2 year old in our bed. Not completely the hotel's fault, but we've always been able to get a crib at these hotels, or at least told this one didn't have them. Front desk personnel was extremely unprofessional. Not rude, just not very welcoming either.
