I am here to tell everyone reading this, getting away from your abuser is the bravest, strongest thing you may ever do. I am a survivor and I can tell you all. I would not be alive today if i wouldnt have left him. I am now a client of Freedom House and they are all wonderful people who care for you. They do their very best to help everyone but sometimes resources are limited. Please keep trying, keep moving forward and remember your worth. You deserve to be happy!! I am donating new little girl clothes and toys tomorrow March 2022. Paying it forward. God bless!!

I called them today because my husband is abusive and we are homeless also i have a support dog also i have no income no family that will help me my husband punched me in my face two days ago and also he not just hits me he calls me names and puts me down on a daily so to me dv is in more than one way and it dont matter where or when it happens anyways i was turned away from help...........

While most of our clients are women, the shelter is not strictly for women. If you need more help, please feel free to call us and we will be glad to answer any question you have for us. Also Stephanie we do take donations. If it is money, feel free to go to our website and we have an easy way to donates that way.
