I came to Nashville to celebrate my Birthday and see friends and coworkers I haven't seen in 20 plus years (I used to live here). I did a lot of research as where to stay and this was centrally located to everything I wanted to do while in the city. In almost every review I read about the construction , some said outdated rooms and from the website itself I was expecting such a room. My room was already restored, and upon entering the room I was amazed to see a very big television mounted (55 inch I believe or maybe a little bigger). That was the thing I was disliking most on the site where it says the rooms come with a 21 inch television which was unheard here in Ohio. The Carpet was a beautiful gray, which just so happens to be my favorite color and the staff was so courteous in allowing me to have a small gathering in the lobby to celebrate my Birthday with friends. Yes, there was some construction but it wasn't disturbing and although I wanted to use the pool and gym, it was not much as of a inconvenience for me not to return and will be doing so in a couple months. Great location, great staff and a great updated room made this a very enjoyable experience. Once completed , this is going to be one grand hotel. Thanks so much SpringHill Suites Nashville Metro Center staff. You are awesome!

The staff is nice but do not follow protocol when there are issues. Management is AWFUL. They failed to inform us the pool was closed and renovations were being done. It was smelly and dusty. In addition the elevator stopped working for 2 days and my elderly companions had to walk up three floors. One had lung issues and the other heart conditions. The breakfast was horrible, our room sink was clogged and lastly they overcharged me $700 for my stay.The manger should be replaced or retrained. And the staff needs training in ethicsical training. .

Service counter employee was very sweet and kind. However, overall hotel was old and scary. They are gutting/remodeling which they should do but they should also be closed until it’s all done. You’ll be the only ones there it seems like because the front of the hotel is getting demolished and reconstruction is happening 8-6PM and nobody was in the parking lot. It’s not posted on the website they are doing this renovation so you don’t know this until you booked a room and arrived. We saw other cars going in and deciding to leave too because it doesn’t look livable. They try to be nice and give you an apology gift bag with a water, snacks and EARPLUGS! Stained carpets that could be with mold… in the windows from the front it looks like some windows are broken. Definitely did not feel good staying there and decided to leave. Would not recommend until everything has been updated. I feel bad for the worker who has to go through with that. This is from May 2nd 2022.

I didn’t get injured, so that was good. I cannot believe a Marriott affiliated hotel is operating like this. I paid 120k Marriott points to stay for 3 nights at a place with no working check-in kiosk when I arrived, construction everywhere, no breakfast unless you count some prepackaged sugar in a brown bag, filthy looking carpets, gum or something on the window, a broken couch arm, I could go on. I was in shock, frankly. On the good side, some of the staff was helpful and the bed was comfortable.
