Friends Place in Richardson was a perfect place for my dad who has Alzheimer. I was able to relax knowing the wonderful staff took good care of him. He always had a smile when I picked him up and talked about the fun activities. I highly recommend them.

My family member loves going to "Friends". After years of little social interaction he enjoys participating in various activities. He feels part of the group - he even has the t-shirt. Although I had initial concerns about his willingness to attend, he easily slid into a routine and has been attending daily since April 2019. If weekend services were offered I think he'd be happy to attend. Staff, activities, facilities, and meals are all top-notch. Highly recommended.

We understand that planned activities are not for everyone. Some members are more interested in helping with activities or other “jobs” where they can feel needed. Throughout the center, books, games, puzzles readily available in addition to having someone to talk to nearby.
Almost all long term care insurance policies will cover the cost. A staff member can assist a family in verifying benefits with their Long Term Care insurance provider.
Our unique programming, design, and services are intended to provide therapeutic benefits for each of our members as well as create positive outcomes that are carried over into the home environment, ultimately benefiting families as well.
