pharmacy is awful. get ready to be ping-ponged between consultation, drop off, and pickup. if you must use them, try to block out a half hour in case you need to resolve insurance shenanigans. the non-pharmacy service is good though; quinn is a cool dude.

Minus 1. Minus 5!!!!! This CVS pharmacy operates like a third world country pharmacy. If your doctor orders a prescription on a Friday afternoon, no one here will take the time to order it if out of the medication. Not for Saturday. Not for Sunday. And not even for Monday morning. Deliveries only arrive in the afternoon. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Children are running this place. Not adults. And it happens all the time here. Hope no one dies because of it!

After calling 2 different CVS in the area that closed, I called one more pharmacy in Mt Pleasant (off Rifle Ridge road) who told me it was policy that it would take at least 24 hours to transfer a prescription. I knew very well this was not the case as a longtime employee of the company. Finally, I called this CVS that a little farther than where I was staying but it was okay. Even though I told her before she closed (an hour or more) she had them ready for me in less than 20 minutes...less than what it took me to drive there. When I got there she was alone in the pharmacy and she was handling it. For the record CVS, just because she can do it alone doesn't mean she should have to! 😉 She is an asset I am thankful for.

CVS Pharmacy on George Street in Charleston is a great pharmacy and drug store that is conveniently located in the middle of Charleston. It is an easy walk from just about everywhere on the Peninsula and is great if you need something in a hurry and need to get in and out quick fast. They have a lot of things that you need including snacks, drinks, cards, and other personal items at a good price. I like the layout of the store and they way everything is organized as they are able to fit a lot in a small face with plenty of room to move around. The staff here is great and and friendly and does everything they can to help you and get you on your way. This is one of my favorite drug stores in Charleston.
