We usually stay at the Santos campground for our trips to vortex but it was completely booked. We got a campsite at Shangri-la and it is great. Both are good sites, Shangri-la is quite but primitive and more private. Santos has great access to vortex and electric hookups but the sites are right next to each other and near a busy road. Shangri-la has access to Nayls loop which is a great trail as well

Nice campground, primarily for people with horses and bicycle enthusiast. Connects to the paved Santos bike trail. Many excellent, beautiful mountain bike trails and horse trails. No hook up, but has dump station. Has nice, large bath house.

Very nice primitive campground. Large camping spots, with a fire ring. Staff was friendly and helpful when inquiring about the surrounding areas. The bathroom & showers were clean, well lit, and centrally located. It made for a nice weekend get away.

Typically easy to reserve and you can ride pretty good mountain bike trails, which is nice compared to others. I hate how hard it is to reserve Alafia and Santos. I actually like that this place doesn’t have power at the sites, but it is annoying that they allow people to run generators. I’m surprised they do that and it ruins part of the escape from noise. Other than that love this place.

Call during work hours and they will give u the code.
Their are poles for highlining but not sure if they supply the line as well. I used portable pen panels. The on site host would know, call them
There is no electricity at the campsites and you can go for one day.
No, you can only stay a maximum of 14 nights
No, it's just camping lots for rent
No fees for the hiking or horseback riding trails or parking. Daily fees for campsites. Mostly primitive sites for tents with centralized bathrooms and showers.
$504 without taxes or anything else added in. Not sure if there would be any type of discount for extended stay either for i don't work there. There overnight stay is $18 a night and a weekly rate $126. I hope this was able to be of some help for you and as a fellow camper to this campground say, I think you'll enjoy the stay there. Absolutely one of my favorites!
I am not sure about facilities for horses, sorry. I was camping, no horse. Sorry I do not have more information. The camp sites did not have water or electric power.
