This is a "must" stop anytime we are vacationing on the Georgia coast. On my 5th trip here I still rate it 5 stars because the all the food is great, and the scenery wonderful too since Skipper's is right on the river, with a boardwalk where we always can go see an alligator or two and enjoy views of all the shrimp and fishing boats on the river. And see the turtle pond and snake pit attractions as you enter the restaurant! The shrimp and most fish served at Skipper's is locally caught by the boat at their dock so VERY fresh.

This place served the best shrimp and flounder I have ever tasted. I rolled into town and one of the locals recommended this place. The food was amazing, the service was great, come eat here you will not regret it if you love crab, shrimp and seafood.

Good selection of fresh seafood. Oysters were delicious and done several different ways. Scallops were wrapped in prosciutto yummy. Thanks to Rex for great service. Good place to grab a drink and watch the sunset!!!!

I don't know if this counts as a hidden catch (they have a huge sign right off I-95) but it's definitely a bountiful one! Skippers' is a traditional dockside oyster bar and restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating. If it's a nice day outside I highly recommend the latter: it has a magnificent view of the nearby fishing boats and bridge. As for the food - it's amazingly fresh and well-made, with generous portions. The staff is super nice and helpful as well. Overall, it's worth a detour from the highway to check it out!

Yes. Main restaurant has no stairs breeze way is plenty wide to accommodate accessibility.
The food was delicious and with a casual atmosphere with water front views it was quite a surprise.
Customers need to wear masks until they get to their seats, every other table (or more) is closed, and staff wears masks all the time. I'm not sure if there is curbside or anything like that.
Good food but fried seafood isnt tough. They need to clean up turtle tank
It's available
They have an outside area to eat. I am not sure about that.
I believe they do.
Not sure, I don't live in the area. Check and see if they have a FB that might list hours.
I'm pretty sure they're open 7 days a week. Was just there earlier this evening. The food was great as usual....
No hit 99 then 17 down....easiest route...i live here
Here's a novel idea, simply as a guest who likes the restaurant... dress up in your Sunday best and show up at the location with a great attitude and ask the manager or owner that question. Just a thought. Good luck.
No buffet that I know of but you can get full menu at the dining room or the bar. Great place. The food is yummy
No knowledge about peanut free...but we've been going for years and never a bad experience, unless you count the wait sometimes, especially at peak hours. The food is great, and always out hot. The folks who serve us have always been friendly and congenial.
For commercial and sport fishing...In Georgia the grouper must be 24"...in the South Atlantic Federal waters it is 24" as well with a 1000 pound total catch limit.
Probably not, never got any discounts in the 20 times we been there.Like Mike said just call good people.
No pets. The Bar is separate from the Dining Room.
