Beautiful historic house on Swiss Ave, and the tour was great! Charming and engaging, beautiful costumes, and endearing performances by volunteer actors. The story of the home's original owners takes you through most of the house (which was stunningly decorated for the holidays!), and afterwards, you can explore a bit more and get photos. A great FREE activity for visiting family and friends, folks interested in Dallas history, or anyone looking for something different to do on the second Saturday of the month. Also, FYI- we went in Dec 2021 and most guests had masks, but the actors were unmasked. It is a challenge to keep distance on the tour of the interior, so if you're concerned, I highly recommend wearing a mask.

Four of my immediate family did the Mother’s Day tour that Swiss Avenue has every year. The Aldridge House was one of the highlights. It’s maintained by doctors’ wives with the utmost care.

Currently you cannot rent out the Aldredge House, however, it is available for small events and photos.
Parking spaces are available. Valet parking is an option for some programs.
