Ive known the place for a few years and Ive performed on their stage several tines. Teresa Coleman Walsh is a Queen of well deserved praise. The BATC is a gem in the Arts district. Take in a show or two or more and support.

You could also try Chijmes which is relatively nee to Oak Cliff.
Street parking, and the meters are not effective after 6 is my recollection.
You will need to call r go online to register to become a member. You may have to get on a wait list, but it's worth the wait. Also, they will have extra tickets for events/ performance, that has vacant seats.
