They'll get you on the road but pay for it and quality of life sucks. Definitely not for everyone. Certainly pays more than most jobs without a career.

This place will treat you like trash. They don't pay anywhere what they say they will. My truck was in the repair shop for 3 months over a 9 month period. They act like your getting a deal if you go to get your license through them. You are not. Your better off going to a local uaw union school to get it. You will get ripped off from day one with them. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity with this company. They are heartless, mean and greedy. You are nothing to them but a pawn. They will cast you away without a second thought. The insurance package they offer is useless. You have to pay so much out of pocket for prescriptions that your paychecks are gone before you get them

I just quit from this company after a year and a half. Only reason I stayed that long is to fulfill my part of the agreement since they did pay the truck driving school and gave me the experience. For that I am thankful. Other than that I can honestly say this is one of the worst company I've ever worked with. My advice to people thinking of getting into the trucking industry, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. There are better companies out there to start your careers with. Better pay, better management, better treatment, better communication, better home time and less frustration. If you don't want to experience any of those things I pointed out then by all means work for this company and find out the hard way.

Well PAM helps you by having you go thru CDL training school which the school schedules the road test and then you sign a contract to work for PAM for one year to pay it off.
You must have your DL for 3 years no violations no tickets and you can come apart of the team
Run far and fast from them
Yes, open 24/7
If you get let go for some reason before the year is up, even if you don't want to go, and it's not even a driving incident or ticket, C1 will start hounding you for the 5995.00. Even though they sent me to Indianapolis from upstate NY, instead of down to Philly. . Or take into consideration that they put us in a hotel with bed bugs, and no security, where cars are broken into or stolen. Or that the schools trucks were junk that broke down in the parking lot, and the teachers were being fired for inappropriate conduct. Or that they would loose their tempers, and yell. Or speak in unintelligible mumblings using unrelated comparisons...
