I’ve never had an issue with Lowe’s until we purchased appliances. First off I’d like to thank Scott in appliances for all of his hard work. It’s a shame that three different “managers” not only dropped the ball but lied about doing so on several different occasions. I can deal with delays even damaged but not the continuous lies in an attempt to push the blame on someone else. Also, get rid of your phone system and assign someone to transfer calls rather than speaking into an automated system that doesn’t work. This phone system forced us to drive into the store several times to be lied to. Unfortunately, this store is the only major chain store to buy large dollar items. Also, the ladies working the registers are FABULOUS as well as most of the people in Paint. We will now frequent the locally owned hardware stores and go to Home Depot rather than shop at Lowe’s.

Plenty of products... not so with help. We needed concrete blocks & concrete mix. We struggled getting those 80lb bags onto the cart. Thankfully another customer helped us with last few bags. Then at check out I asked for help.. it never came. Honestly I think my request fell on deaf ears. We loaded the truck ourselves. My husband has a hurt hand, balance issues and is 82 years old. It's SO frustrating but there is never any help in that stores construction area to be found. UPDATE- So our project required more concrete (cost of concrete less than plywood) so I called to make sure they had stock & someone to load it. They assured me it was no problem so off I went. I arrived spoke to the cashier & she told me to pull up to the stock & she'd page the clerk. She told me he'd gone on lunch break but she'd keep trying... a manager came over & said same & they continued paging. 20 minutes or so went by, no clerk & manager came over again. A customer was leaving & asked what I needed & began loading my truck. Another coming into the store jumped in & helped. These 80lb bags were stacked 3 pallets high. A BIG thanks to the guys that loaded my truck. I am so grateful to all the good people out there & a big shout out to the parents raising their kids that way. I hope Lowe's is able to do something about their help issues.

So this specific Lowe's the lady we worked with was dismissive and rude. That's my first two stars. The second reason I gave this two stars is some information for those of you who are a veteran like myself. You can't get a military discount unless you go through a bunch of hoops that you have to jump through to put yourself into the system. I don't know exactly what it takes to verify but apparently your military ID or a veteran ID isn't going to be enough. I'm just saying I wouldn't be handing out my DD-214...I don't know about you. The item that I came to get at this Lowes they also had at tractor supply. Because of the headache that this woman gave me, and the problems with the fact that they won't let me use my military ID, it sent me to tractor supply. And to be honest, this will also solidify me going to home Depot probably for the rest of my home repair needs..

Check out was fast and friendly. But the staff called to unlock the mower trailer I bought was clueless. 4 different workers came out with no key to unlock them. Took a hour for them to locate keys. That's a pretty long wait of ya ask me!
