We went to pick pumpkins, and the folks that own and run the establishment are top notch. Family run, they take you out to the patch in a trailer with hay bales, drop you off and let you pick your pumpkins. Someone comes back to check on you and pick you up. (and your haul) The only thing I would say to anyone coming is maybe bring some tree loppers, etc to cut the stems on the pumpkins. There was a guy with his family that had a machete, and axe would work, but something to get a clean cut on the stem. If not, you have to kind of roll the pumpkin and twist the stem off. That works too, but next year I’ll bring some pruning loppers to get a clean cut. The matriarch of this stand is also a baker, and we picked up a blueberry pie…simply amazing. She had pumpkin bread and pecan pie as well, which we didn’t try. All in all this was a great experience and a very kind family running a great business, they’ll have our support going forward.

Super quaint. Very friendly people. Pumpkin patch was small this year, but apparently it will be bigger next year. Let me and my friends do baby photos with the dog. Actually pumpkin patch. Nothing fancy but excellent hospitality.
