I booked a “retreat” as a treat for myself. Was told it included a massage but it didn’t. When I got there the front desk ushered me to the back without orienting me to the dressing room etc. Super pricey for what it was. My massage therapist Shanika was really great and definitely had expertise. I wouldn’t return though because of the lack of help from the front desk/hospitality. I’m sure a massage here would be great though.

Esthetician Luz was wonderful. She was very good at listening to my needs, recommending products for aftercare, and giving me a 5 star service from beginning the end. Luz is the reason why I became a member. I can’t wait for my mom to treat herself with her, too. Removing one star from my review due to the unfriendly front desk staff — they do not align with the welcoming ambiance of Hiatus!

160 dollars for a facial that last 40 minutes was a complete waste of money. I could have sworn I asked for 60 minutes so Im still trying to figure out what happened to the other 20 minutes. I can see 10 minutes for dressing out not 20. I was asked did I want to add a honey and blueberry cream as it made it easier to do extractions. Specifically told the esthician I dont do peels. I agreed....it was a 40 dollar add on. I was told the peel I added was 40 extra..lol after..it was definitely a cream. I expressed that I wanted extraction done. She spent a whole 2 minutes on my whole face for extractions. Horrible! I actually will be making an appointment for a REAL facial tomorrow with Ann Webb. They know what they're doing at Ann Webb and it won't cost me 180 dollars.
