The bullying, "canceling", and personal attacks towards the management is unnecessary on here. Most people who post negative have been gang affiliated and have caused a disturbance at the campground otherwise. Overwhelming the management with insults and vandalizing the property isn't going to make this place better. When people get denied service for a good reason they and their friends start leaving libelous reviews they know to be false. Competitive businesses and greedy neighbours trying to force it close and sell out is b.s. too. Just show up, be cordial as a guest and management does the same. people trying to sneak through the gate, lying about it being thier birthdays, and being argumentative over prices because of misinformation ( "thought it was five dollars a car!?...well f this), might negatively affect your experience. Just cooperate with the people who work there and everyone can have a better time.

A grand place to visit with owners who put the red carpet down for you.

I think it's $2 a person day use and $20 a night
When you stay the night the nexted day is free we go all the time and love it it's a great deal
As long as you stop at the entrance and ask you can drive in and check it out. Please understand that during busy weekends we might not allow it simply because it is hard to keep track of everyone.
It's usually $21 a night. I go with my fiance and son. So for two nights it's $42.
If you come in shortly after 7 someone will most likely see you & wait on you.
4 bucks per adult kids 11 threw 3 are 2 bucks usually there free it depends on the guy

Yes it is worth $21 and it's 4 a person and 3for kids it's so relaxing at 6 that's when a female in the mail come in you see the river change I'm still 2 rabbits and that means official coming back to pain that's the best time to fish 6 p.m. but you might like it
That's how it works you'll love it. Remember it's not spectacular it's just a little getaway...
you have to pay tovget in but it is well worth the few dollars that they charge
It's 21 bucks for 3 people then 7 dollars for every orher person a night dogs are allowed not sure about reserving a spot but you could go mark a spot with a tent, Yes It Is first come first serve
Not really. Good for inflatable, small boats. Pond is too small for kayaking.
Yes, year round.
Yes
Yes. Owner operator. Very nice people.
Yes you still need a fishing license. Even though its private property the river belongs to the state and the county of Fresno
No, we are on the Fresno side of the river - Cobbs is on the Madera side
Open year round, just take your bug killer.
$18/night, as of 08/2017. This is a primitive campground. Porta-potties, not plumbed bathrooms. Just FYI.
Spending Independence day at this camp ground was a blessing. The owners put the red carpet down for me and saved my trip! He helped me build the tent, he charged my selectric scooter, my phone and even lend me his electric air pump to air up my mattress! Very kind, humble and even funny 🤲🏼
YES! You can pay for a day im not sure how much, but Its 20$ a night.
I believe so was last weekend
They close at 9pm every day
10pm if any later I would call let them know your estimated time of arrival.
Yes. Camping was $20 per night, I think
Hi Jason, I Moved to Fresno from Pacific Grove CA/Carmel Monterey area in 1992. It took till 2017 for someone to show me this Hidden Gem. It has had some challenges last few years, the owner who had managed past away shortly after my first visit. Her grandson has stepped up and is running it now. I have shown up to fish at all different hours, in mornings come collect payment if you arrive in middle of the night. Fair warning, Porta potties are available in strategic areas, bring your drinking water, and Grey water. There are no water faucets. They're spaces for RV's that are flat but not really pull through friendly as you come into Campground I prefer tent camping so I drive out onto the strip that gives pond on you left and San Joaquin River on your right. There's also trails to follow up River for more good fishing. It also has a couple places to launch a kayak or small boat. What I enjoy is the feeling of ruffing it without that awful long drive up to mountains.
By the person.. $4.00 each
It is closed. It is private property now.
It's not $8 per night. The campground is closed, it is now private property.
It's open all rear round for camping. First come first serve.
Use to go here for 40 years. Young man has taken it over. He has bad mental/emotional issues. Curses at the top of his lungs alot. F bombs all the time. One day he is normal. Next off his rocker. He has ruined a real gem of recreational spot for fresno. Best I know he owns it. So he can do as he wants with it. He is cutting his own throat financially running it this way. I don't use it because he is unpredictable to make plans to go out there. Hope he gets help with his problems.
We tried to go there a couple weekends ago, but I guess they've been closed. The road had a Lil tractor or truck parked blocking the way to get in. We waited and walked around the entrance but no one came out.... I hope they open up again soon If you end up finding out it is let me know
It's first come first serve. But the guy who runs it has some mental problems. You never know what type of mood he's going to be in. Besides dealing with him it's a great place.
Gates are locked. We are closed right now.
Absolutely! We can be an in or out spot. We offer parking while you're on the water. It is just $5 to park a car or to pick up passengers.
Tents...no cabins...
I think $12 a night.
Dry camp only rv yes no hookups fun spot. Bring a fishing pole.
It is first come first served
Unfortunately no you can not.
$21 per night for up to 3 adults (12 & over). Additional persons 12 & over are $7 per person. Kids under 12 are free.
Yes it is!
It's 3 days max but they are really nice pepole u can talk to them and they can work with u rates are diffrent in the spring and summer I payed 27 a night
I don't think anything that has a motor to it you can launch
4 bucks for the day
Not sure but for a tent its 21 buck minimum a night but if you have a group of more than 3 people after the first night it's only 7 bucks a night You'll have to call them about a R.V.
It's been a while since I've been there....unfortunatly. New baby...fear of skeeter bites, hassle, etc. I can tell you that you are charged per person. It was $4 per person per day to just hang out, fish, etc, but to stay over night it goes up to $6-7 per person per day.
Yes there is!!
$4 a day, and you'll get no answer regularly because the owner is horrible. He kicked us out saying we had to leave by 9pm without giving a reason. And to minutes before he'd been smiling in our faces. Be very careful of the owner. The staff is friendly, but they fear him.
Any time first come first serve
I'm not sure, you would have to ask when you go there
I think they said like 4 adult and 3 for 12 and under or 11 and open all the time till like 9 i believe
It's really flooded went father's day
No u dont need reservations and yes tents are allowed
I would assume it's flooded or itleast the river bank side
You dont reserve, its first come first serve, yes it costs, price im not sure, you will have to call
7 bucks a night per person basically to camp no parking fee
They dont , there is a guy that lives on site in house on the left as you enter and you pay him to enter or they will collect the money from you the next morning if your camping 😁
Go out there and talk to Steven he's a great guy never hurts to ask
o
They have a limit on the amount of nights you can stay think if 3-4 days/nights
Under $20 i believe.
There are a few water hookups but drinking water needs to be brought in. Wood can be purchased. Trashbags recommended so you can clean up afterwards biggest problem there is litter pigs so sad. Love this place.
Catfish & blue gill
Yes Diana. We are actually open year round - a lot more fishing goes on in the winter months but if you can handle the weather, you can come play at our house!
You need to to piedra below pine flat dam. In the river but you half to wait till water level goes down.
We are a primitive campground, there are no hookups at the camping sites. We have the ability to provide electricity and water to a couple of units but they are not near the water and are in use during the winter time for people that are travelling. During the summer, if your unit is self-contained you can camp anywhere you like.
Office opens at 7 am. It all depends on the day. Weekends get packed quickly. Holiday weekends even faster. A lot of people will come on Thursday night to get the spot they want.
We don't have a reservation system, it is first come first served so the earlier you're there the better choice of spots you will have.
Last year during the flood. I saw a giant snake water. About 8 feet long and fat
As of August, 2017, the cost for tent camping was $18/night. I do not know the rate for RV's. Feel free to call the establishment.
