First time going there and I must say I was not disappointed! Absolutely breathtaking views, perfect for taking your friend's and family, don't forget your hat, water and sunglasses as there isn't much in terms of area's to shelter from the hot sun.

Beautiful place on a hot day. Guides were informative. Portable restrooms are outside. No fee, but donations accepted. A scene from Forrest Gump was filmed here.

Very cool piece of Maine history. Also cool that a snippet of Forest Gump was filmed here. The staff were very friendly and informative. Highly recommend a stop here if touring the Maine coast.

Very cool lighthouse. Beautiful scenic view. There is a cool museum inside and a little gift shop. Check the hours before you go if you want to go in. Otherwise you can just walk around and explore the grounds. If you’re in the area definitely check it out. And of course Forest Gump did turn around at this lighthouse on the east coast.

You can see everything a person can while walking. It's a great spot. I'm not sure if they had a handicap port-o-john.
