This year I purchased a retainer for my lower set of teeth after losing mine during travel. My daughter recommended Mint Orthodontists upon my arrival to live in Texas. I scheduled an appointment and 2 weeks later received my retainer. Around 7 months later the retainer tore which was surprising because retainers usually last several years as had been the case with my first one before I lost it. I contacted the office and was told there is no warranty and that I would have to purchase another one. After receiving the cost, I declined to continue business because it suggest that I would have to purchase a retainer on an annual basis at the very least. Don't we all deserve quality in products that are usually used in the longer term? What's even more disturbing is this company is all over the radio and elsewhere commercializing themselves as the best in the business. How can this be with the level of service I received. Be ware!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Horrible horrible service. My husband went to at the end of April to the Grand Prarie Mint Dentistry location. He thought it would be a wonderful experience based on all the highly praised reviews and commercials on all platforms of social media. He agreed to do a cleaning and x-rays. While he was doing the cleaning and x-rays they were running his insurance. They then start to sedate him AND THEN talk to him about prices. They did NOT let him know that they were out of network. While he was being sedated they talked to him about prices and he was confused as to which portion he paid versus what his insurance was going to pay. He gives them the OK to start doing the fillings he needed done and after everything was done he went to pay and they told him it would be $1,200. With having a new baby on the way he would not have agreed to pay that. The following 2 weeks after that he was in excruciating pain, not able to eat anything hot or cold, and not able to do daily tasks. We set up another appointment for him to be looked at the South Arlington location. With it being the very last appointment before close, since he was coming from work, they just opened his mouth, stuck the metal tooth pick in his tooth and sent him home with antibiotics. They didn't offer to do xrays. They referred him to a specialist and said it was normal to experience pain 1-2 weeks after fillings. We are now going on over a month, he has been rotating betwelen Tylenol extra strength & ibuprofen everyday for over a month to which it still has not done anything. We scheduled another appointment with Aspen dental and they did x-rays and discovered that Mint Dentistry drilled down to my husband's nerve on his teeth. After that I called Mint dentistry and told them my frustrations and how it's upsetting to pay $1,200 to be in pain and the only thing they are trying to prescribe to help is ibuprofen. It is very negligent to to a mild sedation on someone and then talk to them about prices, let alone not do that before they are sitting in a chair. BE WARE!!!

Bedsides the fact that they do not share x-rays from Mint to Mint orthodontics and my daughter had double x-ray exposure within a 1 week time, the staff and office is great. I hope someone looks into a program where radiology films can be shared between facilities.
