I'm not sure why Google keeps asking me for a review. I don't always review. My guess is because it knows I was recently there looking for a book with my daughter. I was disappointed they had limited copies and I had to buy it. It's a popular book so I'm not sure why they wouldn't have more copies. Other than that, it's an average library....nothing outstanding. I will say that the behavior of the staff lacks professsionalism in their HR/hiring practices (from my personal experience with them several months ago) I hope Google stops asking after this review

Huge library with all sorts of books! I'll be starting work here soon, and I honestly can't wait to be a part of the wonderful staff. :)

My brother (4th grade) and I came here today. He walked past the computers to try and look at some books he saw, and an asian lady staff member screamed at him, screaming that those books were ‘staff only’ and telling him to get out of the library. My brother is special needs and he,(and me included), did not see the staff only sign? It looked like book shelves so we went over to it, because we were in a library? What else do you expect, at least be nice about it! My brother was very upset by this interaction and we left immediately without checking out the books that we had. We will not be returning, this is disgusting.

Good morning - yes, you can donate used CD's. All donations go to our Friends group to be used in book sales to raise money for the library.
You can do that online if you have an acct or phone the library.
Yes! Donations resumed May 9 following our April book sale. The Friends of the Chester County Library thank you for your support!
I am a patron, not an employee, but I know that on July 1, 2019, three of the largest public libraries in the United States—the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library, and the Queens Public Library—discontinued Kanopy, citing unpredictable and unsustainable costs. Since then, Kanopy was acquired by Overdrive which CCLS does provide for ebooks. Perhaps once Overdrive has figured out a business plan for Kanopy it will be a viable and cost-effective way to provide video content to patrons.
I was there this morning, and a sign was up saying that they were accepting donations.
Yes, for up to two hours I understand. Masks and social distancing are observed.

Hi Marcia, yes you can! Go to our website at www.chescolibaries.org to search our catalog. If you need further help, call our reference desk at 610-344-5957.
Book clubs, children's events, community meetings, craft meetings, movie showings, etc. There's also a calendar online that lists upcoming events.
It depends, but movies are 2$ last I got one.
Check the Overdrive app on the library's page....
