We camped on the lower loop and no hookups for trailers/RVs and its very spaciousfor tent campers. Bathroom wasn't very impressive as no soap, no sanitizer when we first arrived. Campers brought soaps and sanitizer to the bathroom to share. There are no showers in the bathroom; however there were outside shower stands with cold water down in the beach area (which was about a quarter mile away from the lower loop camp sites). Bathrooms on the beach areas were very dirty and no soap/sanitizer either. There was a small playground for toddlers and an area for volleyball. This place is ideal if the bathrooms are cleaned and with some types of sanitize products provided. The beach is extra nice with clear water and soft sand.

Great camping ground one of the best locations - view and beach. Minimal facilities (no electricity and water for RV), a bit on the crowded side. Highly recommend for off seasons/ mid week.

Campground is very nice. Very clean and quiet, not super busy but water hasn't warmed up for swimming yet. That is why it's not full yet.

Arrived late and left early but the scenery is beautiful and the camp host was great! I also liked the various site configurations.

With camping allowed several places along the shore only accessible by boat there is overnight parking at the boat launch. I also saw overflow parking for boat trailer although it wasn't being used. Camping isn't allowed in the boat launch parking lot.
Yes there is a tent area there is a fee to use it
Yes it is just not main bathrooms but outhouses on campsites and boat launch is open
They are not! They will be starting in the north or closed areas first starting 7/15.
Yes...there are sites that will accomodate you motorhome. There are no electrical, water and sewer sites. There is a dump station. Please note this alert for 2019: Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area has closed advance reservations from July through October of 2019 due to a road paving project throughout the park. The project will include campgrounds, day-use areas, boat launch and other parking areas and connecting roadways. Areas will be temporarily closed on a rolling basis to allow the paving crews to complete the roadwork. Please check the park's Pavement Project web page for current information
Spring Canyon campground is really nice I have not camped out there yet but the park is really nice. It has a small dock for diving, and the water is not too cold to swim and it's not to deep
Yes
Yes they are. Reservations only. 23 a night
No gates. They have park rangers patrolling.
Yes
You can get one a few miles away at Coulee Playland.
Reservation spots only this year.
I was just there 2 weeks ago and you can arrive pretty much anytime after that. We came from western WA and didn't get there till late in the afternoon. They don't even have an official check-in, just find your spot and set up!
All site take reservations. Do not just show up thinking you can get a spot. If you don't have a reservation you are not getting a site. This is a very popular camp ground and it is always full. Please take the time and make a reservation.
It wasn't 2 weeks ago, they were supposed to do their chip seal the day after I left, so it should be done
No. Check www.nps.gov/laro for all updates.
No drones please!
Sorry, It's a national recreation area and doesn't allow metal detecting.
18 a night, and im not sure about the pass, i have a golden pass, which gives me half off.
There is still a burn ban here. So no fires or grills
No worse than other years. Keep a clean camp to reduce the issues.
No cost lots of parking. Its a national park so no discovery pass needed!
