Tonight I saw an awesome thing from elgin PD. There was an old homeless man pushing a cart trying to cross the street at about 11pm on Larkin Ave. No one would have seen the man. Elgin PD stopped both lanes of traffic, got out of their cars and walked the man across. My heart was warmed. Thank you for actually serving and protecting. This is true police work. I hope this goes noticed.

Police tried to arrest a man who was wanted and hid inside a apartment building. At National and Hendee st. The suspect was never caught and no information released on how he escaped.
, it is only that apartment, since the owner keeps the building clean..
Does someone do maintenance?

It's sad that a my car was involved in a hit and run on Monday night on Kimberly ace. The driver left a plate but still no response from the epd on their investigation. Good job epd keep up with the great work!

Cars are parking on Brittany Trail and and it has a snow restriction on the street. How come they did the police do not come and ticketed these cars.
