Worst run agency in State. Get with the times and email documents and accept phone payments. It takes weeks to get records Here is the email that gets sent out for file requests : The fee for your request is $5.00. You may come into the office(some files have to be ordered from storage ahead of time) or send a letter of request with the case number, document and file date that you require and a law firm check or money order for payment. We do not accept personal checks or business checks. Also please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. Large enough for 4 pages. In 2020 I came to request important documentation that I needed but I was missing 3 documents. Angelica Hills in the file viewing room went above and beyond in assisting me get those documentations. She is so friendly and polite. You can tell she definitely knows her job and loves what she does. Yes, you can petition the court for a change of name through the county clerk's office. I believe you have to file a form, pay a fee, and publish in the newspaper.

Call dcfs to become licensed. Call the village of round lake park to register.
My guess is go to Clerks Office, file room. Go with your case number and explain what you are looking for. I'm guessing there is something in the file somewhere confirming its closed already.
