I’ve been struggling with bipolar disorder for over 23 years. I’ve seen a lot of doctors, and have never really received the care I truly needed until I started going here. I seriously have nothing bad to say about them. The front office staff are kind, empathetic, great at their jobs and can really help turn a bad day around. My psychiatrist is amazing. I see Dr. M, and she has helped me more than any other Dr. I’ve seen. She doesn’t rush you through an appointment, she really listens to what you have to say, and makes small changes to meds to make sure you’re on the right path to getting healthy. They helped me become a contributing member of society. I never thought I would have that luxury. Absolutely recommend.

I have been going to this office for the past 4 months for serious clinical depression and I've got to say, they have been amazing! Everyone I've dealt with has delivered the same high excellent standard of service you hope to see at a psychiatric office. From the doctor to the support staff, the therapist, billing personnel, insurance negotiator and front staff- I've never doubted for a second that my wellness was actually important to them. I've had bad experiences elsewhere before and I'm so happy to have found this office! I'd highly recommend Advanced Psychiatry of Elgin to anyone looking for real solutions and support.

I have been a patient since January 2022 and Dr. Malik and her staff are the best I have ever been to. Dr. Malik is very personable, kind, caring and GENUINELY cares about her patients. Sylvia at the front desk is always kind, courteous and professional and she always calls me by name which makes me feel at ease. Amanda is very kind and was very helpful in getting approval for my treatments through my insurance company and always kept me updated throughout the process. Amber is a good-natured sympathetic person who makes you feel comfortable and goes above and beyond. Doug has been AMAZING throughout my treatment, words cannot describe how grateful I am for him and Dr. Malik. Doug is gracious, professional, sympathetic, easy to talk to, a good hearted, kind caring person. I cannot thank everyone enough at Advanced Psychiatry of Elgin for all that they have done for me. If you have the choice to meet with Ms. Alexandria Hernandez who will listen to you, give you practical advice, and has gone the extra mile for me. She has a professional yet supportive demeanor that will allow you to feel safe, reassured of what you need to do, and will stay helpful. Sometimes, mental health practitioners change and become less diligent, this is definitely, not the case with Alex. She helped me complete assessments that I was able to do from home. This was a game changer. My I have not felt this better, centered, and excited about doing things again. She works in collaboration with Ms. Camacho who will call and remind you of your telepsych appointments and is always there to help you. Advanced Psychiatry of Elgin offers ZOOM visits. It doesn't matter where you are with insurance or not, they are affordable even if you have to be a cash patient. Lastly, I met with Kevin Smerko who is a dedicated therapist and listens to you to help you feel better. I am very fortunate to be their patient. I highly recommend them, and I hope you call and get the help you need today!
