Great resource in the community!

Seems to be a hangout for the homeless. People just seem to hang out and have nowhere to go. Super slow and really rude staff. Clinic a few doors down is way faster and more efficient. For people that actually have jobs it is not the place to go. Staff could care less about the patients. Half the people there looked high out of their minds and the staff doesn't care. Worst care I've ever seen.

I was a patient at Sundance for 10+ years. While it’s true that “any methadone clinic is better than no methadone clinic” when it comes to saving lives, had I realized how easily I could take my business and my code elsewhere, I would’ve done so a long time ago. Sundance cuts every imaginable corner to save costs. Even the take home bottles are rarely the same for more than a few months: the clinic buys just enough cheap bottles, while the patients are expected to buy new lock boxes to accommodate the size differences. False positives—as proven by retests—are the norm for whatever outside lab Sundance uses for urine testing, and the clinic’s own staff don’t know how to interpret instant test results. I recently had to argue my way into keeping my code due to a “faint second line”, while waiting for confirmatory results from the lab. Code changes are an uphill battle, often taking a month between meeting the requirements and actually receiving take homes. Good luck having your counselor even remember you spoke with them about moving between phases. There were at least two occasions when Sundance failed to dispense the proper number of bottles during a month when the clinic was closed on my return date. It became my responsibility to make sure the clinic’s holiday schedule was compatible with my medication regimen. The only time I was called in for a bottle count in all those years, I walked out three bottles short. Shame on me for not checking thoroughly before leaving, but how could I have expected something so crazy? The fact that I was able to get the clinic to admit their error is shocking (their immediate reaction was to accuse me of trying to hustle them!), and was only due to the efforts of a staff member advocating for me. That staff member no longer works at Sundance. Speaking of former staff members, the employee turnover rate at Sundance is incredibly high, in an industry with an already high rate. OTOH, the same hard-working nurse has been on staff since I first started methadone in 2011. At least there’s *one* person at this clinic who’s knowledgeable about medicine, and who cares about patients’ well being! She alone earned this depressing clinic a second star.

Yes they do. But I believe only illinicare & county care. They do a nice program...if your insurance is 1 of the 2, and there's no wait list, they put u in this program that is mandatory to go to 1 of the 4 groups tues threw Friday from 12:45pm-3:45pm on 1 of those days. Then the 50.00 is waived weekly. But you must go to at least 1 group a week to stay in this program or they will remove you and you are back to paying 50.00 a week.
They only do liquid form. I dnt know what that man is tlkin about but I’ve gone here my wife has gone here my ex wife also and most of my fam has. And never seen them do pull form. So please don’t answer people questions unless you know what you’re tlkin about thank you 🙏🏼
They take Medicaid at Sundance
No suboxone. No subutex. No Buprenorphine in any form
No they gave a take home on Saturday for this holiday. They will be open the following day.
Yes it's a prescribed medication
You can get take homes but only if your urines are clean.
Usually but you have to be there early for an intake. Call or show up when they open at 8 AM
