Staff is fresh out of grad school and have no experience with people who are actively using in the apartments. This place is a bigger joke than Congress. They promote holistic recovery and arts and crafts and other educational supports, but staff for day/night program and "recovery specialist" have no clue about real life issues. Additionally, staff, including the "executive director" allowed several clients to stay even after they were aware my nephew's roommate was selling and abusing his prescribed medications. Also, clients are allowed to have relationships with other clients. Save your money and go someplace else. Total amateurs.

The staff is amazing. So get this, I was put into contact with someone on the Leadership team. I reached out to him (mind you he didn’t know me at all) and asked him if I could speak to the head of admissions to check on my friends place on their waiting list. The gentleman was in Thailand and it was a Saturday and he immediately got back to me. I’m also “in the field” and someone taking the time to do that is rare. Not only did he put me in contact with the head of admissions - she got right back to me too. Mind you this was a Saturday night.... Make a long story short, my friend completed the residential portion and said that he loved the program. I don’t usually go out of my way to make reviews, but I sort of feel compelled too. If anyone ever reaches out to me and wants help in the Midwest, I will gladly refer them to the people apart of this facility!

I am very surprised of any negativity that is said about Rosecrance in lakeview. If it wasn’t for Paul T Gilmet the director and his staff my son would not be where he is at right now. I cannot thank them enough for there help and professionalism. It’s ashame that when it doesn’t work out for an individual they wright negative things abt the facility. I have to say thank god that this facility is available for those who are looking for help. Thank you and god bless
