1 to 100 to Astoria Place!! Excellent Excellent Excellent service here! Since admission the staff took the time to listen to my story and meet my needs. I appreciated my nurses (Allan, April, Jem, Mima, and Diana) they were patient and great with me. The housekeeping Maria does a great job on making sure my room clean. My CNA's made sure I always had my ice at bedside. Pat, Jaime, Leon from wound were great with me by listening to my request and took care of me very well. Therapy team was wonderful because of them I am able to walk. They were very understanding and always made sure I wasn't in pain. Kitchen staff were absolutely great. The portion was great and the food was always a good temperature. My social work Melissa was very helpful and helped me organize my discharge. I really appreciated the staff at Astoria because they treated me like family. Forever greatful !!!!!

Went to visit a family friend at this place and were not pleased with the junky, crowded room. The friend said the food was not good and he wasn't getting a lot of attention and exercise. The blanket on his bed was supposed to be white but it was dingy and cheap looking. The first time my daughter visited this place, she had to tidy up the room and bathroom. It was hot and depressing in his room when I visited. I haven't returned because it's too depressing for me. I hope freedom of speech is practiced here! I have the Department on Aging on speed dial!
