This is not a good shelter at all yes they will let you stay if they have room and if you meet the criteria and guidelines but beware if your situation changes of any kind trust and believe they will kick you straight out on the street and don't care if you have some place to go or not I'm speaking from experience because that's how they did me, they didn't even try to help me in any type of way at all I thought shelters are supposed to help homeless people not make people homeless then what are they good for and the staff that used to work there was nasty and looked down on people like they were a piece of garbage, this is not a good shelter I wouldn't recommend this shelter to a dog.

THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS! I have a relative that stays there and it seems like the people have severe favoritism. People that work there steal cigarettes from the residence that stay there, try to nick pick with them and even try to get people put out. They don’t care about the people that live there trying to get housing. She called me crying because of this and it’s frustrating.

Call Chicago non emergency 311
No they don't accept single women and if your situation changes of any kind they will kick you out " Real talk because they did it to me
That location is one of the only family shelters in the city.. there are seniors there with their families.. if shelter is needed for an individual (or family), I suggest calling 311 to find out about emergency housing or going to a hospital or police station.. they will tell you how to proceed.. good luck!
You need to call 311 or go to the local police station or hospital in Chicago. Let them know you are homeless and they will help with shelter
They are a very bad establishment tbh you are better off at a hotel
Call 311 or go to the police station or go to a local hospital in Chicago. Catholic Charities will take you to the salvation Army if they have space. Also the salvation Army is a family shelter
Yes they accept families
To the owner of this place you need to make some changes and check on how people are being treated there because if anything changes they will kick people out on the street whether they have somewhere else to go or not it was done to me that's no type of hospitality at all I thought you all suppose to help homeless people not make them homeless and this is supposed to be a spiritual shelter 'huh I think not
Yes, if not full
