Totally disappointed in this organization. I've schedule 4 of the same unsuccessul pickup since November. The first two driver was no show, last one was the cancelled cuz weather was 10 degrees in chicago in the winter time. Pple still go out and wirk but whatever reschedule for kater pickup for today. This time driver lied abt furniture being heavy. Which is funny because I'm a 50 ur old women and was able to move it outside by myself. The boxes he took were actually heavier then the table. . He took some stuff but lied when asked why he didn't take the rest. He stated that he is gonna make call to have pickup with 2 ppl to come back for the tables. I called dispatch and they said we don't have two person truckers not sure why he would tell u this. ME EITHER!!! I hate a liar. Ugh. So pissd right now. I will no longer support this organization 😤 I will take me donations somewhere where my donations are appreciated.

Horrible, 3rd time I schedule a pick-up no show I had 7 boxes outside my house never showed up.. I called to ask the status of pick-up was told they had the wrong address, which is not true I have my confirmation for all three times where it states my correct address .. wasted my time go else where and support other foundations. Only reason I was trying here is because my son has Epilepsy was trying to support this cause!

I have only had one previous bad experience when they missed a pick up, but this time they were supposed to pick up last Tuesday. They did not I called. They said there was a bit of snow. This week I find out there is no driver on this route. Then they call and ask me to bring the stuff back in and reschedule. Never gonna call them agai

Thank you for contacting us, we really appreciate it. The Chicago Epilepsy Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving 44 counties in Illinois, United States. At this time, we do not offer services in Mexico. However, we recommend that in terms of better understanding your brother's condition, it would be beneficial to see an epileptologist. An epileptologist is a neurologist who specializes in treating seizures and epilepsy. We share with you the website of the Aura Center, specialists in Epilepsy located in Mexico City, Mexico. We hope they can guide you and give you more information about it. https://centroaura.mx/ Thank you very much for your question.

The best place to check before making a donation is to check the acceptable and unacceptable lists here: www.donateillinois.org. What we can and cannot accept changes occasionally so it is always smart to check. You can also use the website to schedule a pickup or call (630) 812-2460 to do the same and ask questions. Thanks for donating!
