Banfield has taken care of our Tiny since he was a puppy. They are a little expensive but they care. They remind us when he needs booster shots and checkups.

Banfield Pet Hospital was one of the first vets my baby girl Dakota went to we rescued her at 8 wks old 6 1/2 years ago. They are also the vets that lovingly assisted in letting my sweet baby girl lay to rest after cancer quickly took her from us. I want thank the staff at Banfield Pet Hospital for helping my family through a tough day in saying goodbye to our sweet Dakota Marie Carter

The majority of staff cares about your animals (family). The doctor specifically calls you and sees you, to give you updates on visit/procedures. The front desk calls you to remind you of necessary appointments and vaccinations. I would give it 5 stars if i could, but there is one person who seems to always be in a bad/bossy mood. It makes you not want to go when she is there. Update: I just canceled my account after 5 years… the doctors are great, but the last two years, it has been a horrible experience trying to get any advice. The hold times to the garland avenue clinic are over 50 min (combined 3 calls). They say the are “under staffed” but over two years??? I have opted to use a local vet clinic.

This is the best Banfield location by far, in the northern Dallas suburb area. We've been to many different Banfield locations. Most of them barely remembered our dogs and kept repeating a diagnosis they already told us in the past. They were also very quick to jumping to a conclusion on a new diagnosis without asking any questions or looking at history. Dr Chitwood is amazing, she's extremely attentive, remembers every pet we have and their history. She always asks a lot of questions just to be sure. She provides amazing references if we have to go to different specialists. They recently brought in Dr Byrd, she's also very good. This location has the best vets. If we moved, I'd still drive an hour or more to see them.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
